Next school disco is: Wednesday 6th November 2024

School discos are a highlight of our year, where children and staff can let down their hair!  

OCTOBER/NOVEMBER - Y1 to Y6

• Our first disco of the school year is usually held on a Thursday at the end of October/beginning of November.  

• The first session (3.30pm-4.45pm) is for Year 1 and Year 2.  

• The second session (5.00pm-6.15pm) is for Year 3 to Year 6.  

• A professional DJ provides music and lights; our volunteers serve each child a snack and refresh their water bottles; classroom staff supervise and join in the dancing!

• Sorry, no parents/carers (unless you volunteer)!

JANUARY/FEBRUARY - Nursery

• Our second disco is for Nursery children and their parents/carers.  

• It takes place from 3.40pm-4.40pm on a Thursday in January/February. 

• This disco is DJed by Mrs Kelly and there's plenty of space for parents/carers to sit and chat.  

• Pre-school children can attend with their parents/carers.  We provide a free crèche for older children.  

• Vegetarian and nut free snacks and water is provided.  

• Each child must have a parent/carer present.

MAY - Reception to Y6

• Our final disco of the year is held on a Thursday in May.

• The first session (3.30pm-4.45pm) is for Reception to Year 2.  

• The second session (5.00pm-6.15pm) is for Year 3 to Year 6.  

• Music, food and supervision is as for the first disco.  

• Sorry, no parents/carers (unless you volunteer)!

Dates for all disco's may vary depending on the schools events diary.

HELP WANTED

For each disco, we need help setting up the school hall and staff room (used to prepare food and drinks) in the afternoon.  

We need volunteers at each disco session to serve water, serve snacks and generally tidy up as we go.  

We need help at the end of discos to clear away.
