Summer Fair
Fozia from Button House Brio Retirement Living came along to discuss sponsorship with the PTA and the possibility of a food stall at the summer fair
Offered a raffle prize, discussed discount for volunteers, will have own card machine/cash float. Food stall not to sell drinks, ice-creams/desserts
Lucia to follow up with Fozia on the above outside of this meeting
Teacher volunteer help for this fair is disappointing which has led to discussions on whether to proceed with the fair as they usally run the majority of the games
A letter was sent home asking Year 6 children to help and we have had quite a few offer. They will not handle money but it maybe 1 adult to cover a few stalls with childrens help.
Reviewing teacher/parent/Yr6 volunteers, it was decided that we would proceed with the fair
Wrist band pre-sale 3/7
No teddy tombola as they will need to be used for prizes as the donations were lower compared to the Christmas Fair
Sensory Garden
Beth received an email asking for £5000 from the PTA to support the sensory garden
Discussion was had between supporting further trips/events as we did this year vs sensory garden
As the summer fair is not expected to be as profitable as previous years, the committee held off of making any decision until after the summr fair
Unlikley that £5000 would be agreed
Sports Day
Mr Hinds has requested support from the PTA for fruit for the children at the sports day. This was approved
PTA will also sell drinks to parents - volunteers needed. Lucia will coodinate
