Meeting 27/02/26

Nursery Disco

• The nursery disco was well attended considering nursery is open in the morning only. Attended by approx 17 kids. We usually run a creche for the older sibligs, however as there were only 3, they stayed in the disco.

Mothers Day flowers

• The mothers days flowers have been quite successful with 126 ordered currently. Deadline is today. 

• Felicity suggested the left over filament could be used for fathers day and had the idea of a coaster.

Easter Egg draw

• All the eggs have been purchased as there were some good deals. Lucia had contacted Tesco and Ocado for donations but had not response. With rising costs and to keep the same number of prizes consistent with other years, the amount for each group of eggs was altered. For example, 1 Large egg was approx £12, so changed to more smaller eggs. This is on the 26th March during school hours. 

Krispy Kreme Donuts

• Set for 30th April, Laura and Emma to organise - collect pre-orders, place order and pick-up.

• Previously had pre-orders for dozens, was discussed to add half dozen to pre-order as well as ordering a dozen s quote alot.

• The is a letter on the drop box from previous events that Laura can access

• KK website says minimum 3 day lead time. Lucy went thru the webite with Emma post meeting. 

• Number to be ordered will be dependent on pre-orders. Previously found 20 dozen was too little but 40 dozen too much.

• Suggested numbers of volunteers was at least 4.

Disco

• The disco is the 4th June.

• DJ booked

• Need to check with Head teacher if this can again be a non-uniform day as per previous disco.

• Will require volunteers.

Summer Fair

• 11th July

• Possible theme could be word cup as this is held this summer.

• Question was asked if we do donations for the prize hut again. This seemed to work well for the Christmas Fair and was supported for the next fair. 

• There is a game called 'human fruit machine' we would like to run but this does need 3 volunteers. Suggested a year group could run this like year 6. After meeting realised year 6 usually do the water splat. Maybe another year group.

• Query when there would be a uniform sale. Date was discussed however needs volunteers. TBC.
