Donate uniform

If you have unwanted uniform to donate, please place your clean and dry items in the labelled box just inside the school office (term-time only).  School staff are unable to handle your items so please don't ask them to do so.  

NO THANK YOU to socks, underwear, shirts (short sleeved polo shirts only, please), stained items, yellowed items, items with holes and items with the old school logo.  Please dispose of these items responsibly yourself.

Buying uniform

We try to check items but they are all second-hand so you should expect some wear and tear.  We do not wash items when they are donated so please wash them yourself.  You are responsible for ensuring the suitability of items for your child.

All money raised goes to Friends of Culvers House, registered charity 1098799.  You may not resell items for more than you paid.  Donations to top-up the amount paid are much appreciated.

YES PLEASE:
✔️ Sweatshirts and cardigans with the current school logo
✔️ White polo shirts with short sleeves, with or without the school logo
✔️ Grey trousers, skirts, pinafores and shorts
✔️ Red/white checked summer dresses
✔️ PE t-shirts with logo
✔️ Black PE shorts or joggers
✔️ Jackets/fleeces with the current school logo
✔️ Book bags, school backpacks and PE bags with current school logo
✔️ Plimsolls in excellent condition
✔️ Items missing buttons - we have spares!
✔️ Buttons - if your cardigan is only fit for textile recycling, please save the buttons for us

NO THANKS:
❌ Coats or jackets without the school logo
❌ Shirts or blouses (polo shirts only, please)
❌ School shoes
❌ Socks, tights, underwear
❌ Old school logo items ("Children always come first")
❌ Items with holes!
❌ Dirty, stained or smelly items.  Items smelling of smoke can't be used and will be sent to textile recycling.

Please note that we are NOT accepting donations of anything other than uniform except by prior arrangement.  We don't have the facilities to sort and store them.  If you do have something you want us to have, you must contact us before donating.  Items left without prior arrangement may have to be thrown away.  

We do not have access to school during the holidays, so please hold onto donations until term-time.

NAME LABELS
If you would like your child's name labels removing from donated items, please do this before dropping them off.  If you can manage to leave the size information intact, that is much appreciated (but we can work out the size if you can't).
