Hoodie's for Year 6 leavers - Mr David asked if the PTA would consider subsidising the Year 6 leavers hoodie's. It was agreed by the committee that 50% of the cost would be subsidised. The PTA do not organise the hoodie's but as Shabana is a Year 6 parent, she is looking into the companies and prices. It was discussed whether an amount ie £10 was given for donated for each hoodie but was decided 50% as prices will go up year on year and the PTA felt they would like to continue to support this year upon year.
Year 6 trip - We were asked to also support this which will be a London Eye and aquarium trip. The price is around 20per child, teachers free.
Mrs Binks is going to meet the PTA committee on the 12th Dec (9am community room) to present a vision on how the PTA could support the school in the coming years. The school would like more funding for school trips. Currently £500 is given to the school for every year group for trips. All PTA members welcome.
Year 3 teachers are currently studying about the rainforest. Each year they have raised funds to adopt 2 animals for the year group however the price of sponsorship has gone up significantly. They have asked whether the PTA could contribute to the funding if they do not raise the amount for 2 sponsorships. This was agreed by the committee and is expected to be around £30-£40.
The school asked whether the PTA would donate the Christmas tree this year. This was agreed and the cost is £95.
