ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

1. Welcome

Present: Lucia, Felicity, Katherine, Stacey, Donna, Emma, Shabana,Chris, Sam, Beth, Fran (remote)

2. Chair’s Report

We discussed our fundraising efforts over the past year. Our main fundraisers continue to be the Summer and Christmas Fairs. These bring in most of the money made over the year and smaller events - Discos, Uniform Sales and weekly Ice Cream Sales in the summer keep us going. Krispy Kreme sale was a great success. Also Mother’s day and Father day fundraising events were very successfull. We discussed of a potential change in income due to the change of next Christmas being held on a Friday afternoon and therefore potential change in contributions to the school.

We discussed previous contributions to the school towards trips, workshops and year 6 final party.

We’re looking forward to hearing new ideas, and what would be very helpful would be offers to project manage them alongside the proposals.

A big thanks to everyone involved over the past year and we are hopeful that the new team will be as succesfull going forward.

3. Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was given. The new committee can start with a good balance of £13000 in the PTA account.

Previous committee stood down and new members have been elected
